If you’re making your way around Bornholm on foot, it's good to know that a warm, welcoming place awaits you at the end of the day. At Myregaard, we are a well situated distance for hikers on their routes, whether we’re at the end of a long first day's hike from Rønne, or a well-earned rest as you round the southeastern corner of the island.

After a long day on the trail, here’s what you can look forward to at Myregaard:

  • A cozy B&B double room or a luxury glamping tent in the quiet of the countryside
  • A hot shower to wash off the miles
  • Cold and hot drinks (beer, wine, soft drinks, coffee, tea) in our café
  • Snacks and ready-meals, as well as the option to order a more elaborate Dinner Basket
  • Restful spaces both indoor and outdoor to recharge for the next day's journey
  • Dry your wet footwear and gear in the furnace room
  • Laundry facilities with a dryer, if you need to wash and dry quickly

And in the morning?

  • Our hearty buffet breakfast will fuel you for the next stretch of your adventure.
  • Enjoy the option to order lunch to go.
  • Transportation to a spot along your trail can also be arranged: just ask us!

🥾 What to expect on this stretch of the trail

At Myregaard, we enjoy the wide open landscape and a quiet setting to relax in our house and gardens. This also means that shops and restaurants are not close by; we are situated 5 km from the nearest grocery stores and restaurants.

Food and cooking facilities that we offer on site:

  • Drinks (a selection of beer, wine, soda, juice, coffee, tea)
  • Snacks (e.g. chips, chocolate bars)
  • Simple frozen or quick meals (e.g., frozen pizza, cup noodles, packaged soup)
  • The Myregaard Dinner Basket option, which includes meat (cook or grill yourself), homemade salad, fresh bread, and cookies.
  • A fully equipped guest kitchen if you prefer to bring your own groceries and cook
  • A cozy dining room where you can enjoy meals and drinks
  • An outdoor grill
  • A hearty buffet breakfast
  • The option to order lunch to go

🚶 Coming from Rønne / Boderne

  • Total Distance from Rønne: ~26 km via main road or ~32 km via coastal hiking route
  • 🍽️ Good place to eat along the way (call +45 56977120 to confirm opening hours!): Bakkarøgeriet - a friendly waterfront smokehouse in Østre Sømark, about 6 km before Myregaard.
  • Shopping option: Dagli’Brugsen Pedersker, approx. 5 km from us. Note that Dagli’Brugsen is just under 4 km from the coast

🚶 Coming from Nexø / Southeast Coast

  • 🍴 Eat in Snogebæk – a cozy harbor town with several restaurants (5 km via the road, Poulskervej, or 8 km via the coastal path)
  • 🍔 Nearest restaurant: Dueodde Diner & Steakhouse (5 km from Myregaard)
  • 🛒 Shopping: Dagli’Brugsen Snogebæk

🔥 Dinner Basket & Garden Evenings

Order Myregaard’s Dinner Basket no later than the day before arrival and enjoy a relaxed evening with easy preparation when you arrive.

The Myregaard Dinner basket costs kr. 140 per person (min. 2 people) and includes:

  • 🍗 Meat to cook or grill yourself
    Choose between 2 chicken breasts or 4 sausages
  • 🥗 Salad of the day
    Freshly homemade (for example: broccoli salad, Mediterranean salad, or couscous)
  • 🥖 Baguette or rolls
    Served with butter
  • 🍪 A little something sweet

To round it off, add a bottle of wine or a few beers from our café selection to your order (available for purchase).

🍳 Breakfast to Power Your Journey

Don’t forget—we offer a generous buffet breakfast for just kr. 95 per person.

Fuel up for the day's journey with the following:

  • 🥐 Fresh warm rolls with sliced meats, cheeses, jam, and butter
  • 🥚 Soft-boiled eggs (hard-boiled on request)
  • 🥣 Yoghurt with toppings: muesli, oats, and honey
  • 🍎 A selection of fruits and veggies
  • ☕ Coffee, tea & juice

🥪 Lunch To-Go for the Trail Ahead

If you prefer not to worry about where you will find your next meal when you leave us, you can order a packed lunch to take with you for kr. 60.

We’ll prepare something simple, satisfying, and easy to carry. We call it "Husmandsmadpakke" - which is Danish for a hearty but simple meal.

  • 🥪 Freshly made sandwiches on Danish rye bread, with the day's toppings (cheese, sliced meat, or pate)
  • 🍎 A piece of fruit or snack veggies
  • 🍫 A little something salty or sweet (nuts, fig bar, or similar)

Fill up your water bottle, or purchase a soda from our snack bar to take with you.

Order the day before, and it will be ready in the morning.

🚐 Stay a Little Longer; two legs - two nights

Does a second night at Myregaard sound tempting? We completely understand.

If you’d like to stay with us a bit longer, we offer a service to overnight guests that enables you to cover two legs of your hike in two days - with two nights at Myregaard.

Example itinerary (can also be done in reverse):

🌿 Day 1:
Hike from Rønne to Myregaard. Dinner and overnight stay.

⛰️ Day 2:
Breakfast at Myregaard and a packed lunch for the day. Hike to e.g. Svaneke.
We can arrange pick-up in Svaneke and a lift back to Myregaard by prior agreement.
Dinner and overnight stay.

🌅 Day 3:
Breakfast and packed lunch.
We are happy to assist with transport back to Svaneke, so you can continue your hike.
